Alpine skiing in Puy-Saint-Vincent

In the heart of the Ecrins mountain range, this resort spreads over 3 different altitudes from 1400m to 1800m.

The “sheltered from the winds” so called because of its privileged geographical situation, offers 75 km of marked runs on snowy slopes. This family resort, both modern and authentic was able to meet its’ customers expectations with charming runs of all levels winding through larch forests. The location and position of the resort ensures both snow until late into the season as well as plenty of sunshine.

Whether passionate about winter sports or simply looking to enjoy a skiing holiday with family or friends in a privileged and friendly environment, Puy-Saint-Vincent will not disappoint!

With a snow-park, 1350m of climb, a border-cross, a lit-up run for night skiing, a heated swimming pool, children equipment and views to take your breath away, no need to look further!

For alpine skiers looking to escape noisy resorts and preferring the calm of a traditional mountain village, the gite Les Carlines is only 5 km away in the charming village of les Vigneaux.

After a full day’s skiing and a hot shower, enjoy the meal prepared with care by Gary. (half-board option).

If you plan to stay a week, it is possible to purchase a “galaxy” ski pass from Puy-Saint-Vincent where you will be able to ski as often as you wish but which will also give you a days’ skiing in each of the following resorts: Serre-Chevalier, Pelvoux-Vallouise, Montgenèvre, Sestrière, Alpe d’ Huez or Les deux Alpes.

Alpine skiing in Pelvoux-Vallouise

Accessible to all, the charming small family resort of Pelvoux-Vallouise covers 25km of runs for all levels of abilities (from beginner to expert skier).

South-facing, the resort makes the most of the 300 days of sunshine a year the area is renowned for.

For those wanting to make the most of the slopes, a lit-up run allows for night skiing.

At the base of the resort, you will find the igloo-Pelvoo village and a sledging area. During the winter season, you can take part in the many activities offered: workshops, sleigh dogs, torch-lit descents...)

The ski-passes are very good value : adult day pass 16,30€, child day pass (6 to 12 y.o) 13,50€.

Beginners’ skiing area: adult 11,30€ and child 8,60€ per day (prices winter 2015/2016)

Alpine skiing in Serre-Chevalier

A 20mn drive from les Vigneaux and you find yourself in Briançon at the Prorel ski lift.

Serre-Chevalier is a large valley of the High Alps situated between the famous Lautaret pass and Briançon and is made up from several villages and hamlets from the modern to the traditional.

Serre-Chevalier is better known as one of the largest ski resort in Europe: 410 hectares of runs, from 1200 to 2800m of altitude, for the beginner and the expert alike!

Whether you enjoy skiing at altitude or through the larch forests, have fun in our play areas or ski as a family amongst the protected areas, everyone will find what they are looking for in a winter holiday. 81 ski runs and 62 ski lifts: enough for some fun!
